Things to Keep in Mind Before Looking for a Part

The brand + the full name + the technical part number.
For example: Samsung + Galaxy S23 Ultra + SM-S918B. Please copy all the letters and numbers displayed on your device.

1. Find the exact model number of your phone

On Android: Start by going to Settings

Settings → About Phone / About Device

Look for "Model Number" or "Model." The location may vary depending on the brand. On Samsung devices, note the full code starting with SM-; on other brands, it may take a different form, such as CPH… At Xiaomi, also note the full name: Redmi, POCO, or Xiaomi and the 4G/5G version, when specified.

On iPhone: Display the number A…

Settings → General → About → Model Number

Write down the model name, then tap the value displayed next to “Model No.” to reveal the letter A followed by numbers. Be sure to distinguish between iPhone, Plus, Pro, and Pro Max.

Is your phone not turning on anymore ?

First, check the label on the original box and your receipt: the model or its part number may be listed there. Depending on the device, a part number may also be printed on the casing or near the SIM card slot. Make sure the box matches this phone. There’s no need to take the device apart just to find this information.

A quick check before adding to the cart

  • Same model and same version: Pro, Pro Max, Plus, Lite, 4G, or 5G may refer to different devices.
  • Compatibility confirmed: A similar photo or the same screen size isn't enough.
  • Correct part type: Full screen, glass panel only, with or without a frame… check what's included.
  • Good choices among the options: The model, color, and variant you select must meet your needs.

And what is the IMEI used for ?

The IMEI identifies the mobile device; it does not replace the model number, which should be compared with the part sheet. To view it, you can try entering the code below in the Phone app or check the device information.

*#06#*

This code usually displays the IMEI, not necessarily the model number. If nothing appears, go back to the settings. Some phones have two IMEI numbers. Wi-Fi-only tablets do not have one.

Keep the full IMEI number private: do not post it in the comments or on a public photo.

Did you find your IMEI? You can check it on IMEIcheck, an external service.
